With our all-inclusive Spanish Immersion Program for High School Students, your teenager will learn fluent Spanish, adapt to a new community and gain a wealth of cultural knowledge. This experience will challenge them and broaden their horizons beyond what they could have imagined!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT OUR PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Study location: Heredia City Campus (near San José)

Designed for students aged 15 to 17

Program duration: From 1 week up to 5 months

Spanish study, volunteering, and daily cultural activities combined

Airport pick-up

Breakfast & Dinner

Intensive & customized classes in either private (15 h/wk) or group (20 h/wk) setting

Hand-picked Costa Rican homestay family lodging within short walking distance of school

One week-day cultural tour and all school extra-curricular activities

What is not included:

RT Airfare to Costa Rica

Lunch (available next to school or in town for approx. $5-$6 per day)

Transport to volunteer placement (usually within walking distance)

Pocket money (suggested budget: $50-100 per week)

Weekend excursions (price range $35 - $250)

Class Structure

Teens are not typically placed in group classes with adults. If there are no other teens of a similar level, the teen has private classes three hours per day. Our group classes, four hours per day, are a maximum of six students per class.
