Intercultura Costa Rica’s Teen Spanish Immersion Program offers an alternative to High-School abroad, giving students the opportunity to develop real-world Spanish fluency in Intercultura’s Spanish classes, while living and learning in an entirely new cultural environment. Through daily interaction with Costa Rican host families, local students, teachers, and community members, participants gain far more than language skills — they build confidence, independence, adaptability, and global perspective. Designed for high school students seeking a deeper and more personal international experience, our program combines Spanish immersion with cultural activities, community connection, and individualized support in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where every student feels supported and encouraged.
